When I started in SimRacing, I immediately wanted to face opponents at their best. I therefore set GTR2 on Simulation and strength of AI on more than 100.
The effect was immediate : I started all my races at the last position with times far behind those of the first cars. The addition of AI Mod, which, I repeat, can significantly improve the behavior of Artificial Intelligence during the race, did not help, because the other drivers became even faster. Added to this is the fact that without ABS or traction control, the car was very difficult to drive. The problem of my Momo Racing didn't help me neither.
So I decided to come back a little bit. From simulation, I went back down to the status of Semi-Pro, in order to have the braking and accelerating aids at a low level, and, while keeping all the rules of racing realistically, I started Championships customized with an opponents force of 90.
Now it is very easy to win a race, for sure. I fight more against me, to keep going for 35 laps, as against the other drivers. Nevertheless, when I begin a new championship, I escalates the strength of IAs in order to find the level of difficulty that will require me to make efforts to overcome, and so to change my driving, while taking pleasure in participating .
The level of opponents is now 92 and it starts to get interesting.
