As a beginner in simracing, I realize it takes a lot to learn how to ride properly and expect to win.
I wonder if we should not absorb too much : the art of driving itself is already not easy, but we must also get our engineering degree to adjust the car to the perfection.
Therefore, I have a dream : the dream of a team of SimRacing, almost identical to what happens in reality. This would include at least one director-manager-strategist, a pilot and an engineer to prepare setups.
Each would be hyper specialized and do not occupy the work of the other. Today, we must instead be super versatile and cover too many specialities, which requires much time. And only those who can afford it manage to stand out.
Creating and animating a crew as cited above, would on the contrary rationalize the time allotted to each task and be more effective. In online racing, such a team could become unbeatable, I'm sure.
But hey, it's only a dream.
