Taking a turn
Piero Taruffi wrote in his book "The school of piloting", prefaced by Juan Manuel Fangio and published in 1966, that during a turn, "to get the maximum speed, the driver must describe a curve whose radius will be as long and as constant as possible. "
That's why you must not hesitate to stick to the outer edge of the road at the entrance of the turn, take the rope and then go even pick up once the outer edge of the corner exit route: to describe a curve at the longest possible radius.
That's what I'm working on now. I abandoned the setup: I take more time to hone my cornering trajectories. And the first results are conclusive. More speed and less head-to-tail.
