Gearbox
On most sites and forums I've read, I read pretty much the same things.
To adjust the gearbox, place the 6th so that at the end of the longest straight of the circuit, the needle of the tachometer comes just before the switch. On this principle, no problem.
For other speeds, it must then stagger from the first to the sixth.
But few talk about the preparation of the first and second gear. Personally, and this is perhaps a mistake that some of you can correct it in the comments below, I only use the first one to start the car. After, in the slowest corner of the circuit, I remain in second.
Yes but now I've realized that my second was too low. How ? Loss of grip when shifting down, and loss of grip also on corner exit when I give gas. In short, I decided to go up a little my second.
So, of course, less traction in the recovery, but no more problem. And I've earned seconds.
The Rookie.
