The consumption of a race car...
One of the crucial data to master, which can make you win or lose a race, it's fuel. And more specifically, the consumption of your car.
As a beginner in simracing, I was naive enough to believe that in GTR2, particularly in the settings section, you must adjust the weight of gasoline based on the number of laps to go. If I have 35 laps to go, I have to put in 35 laps of fuel in the tank. But that's not fair.
Two possible reasons: either the simulator can handle overconsumption (go slower and you'll save fuel) or the informations given by the settings are wrong.
This earned me, at my last race, with a Ferrari F360 on the Estoril track, a beautiful disappointment. 4 laps before the end of the event, I was dry.
Despite my research on the net, I got no explanation for this problem.
So I have to pay attention now to the consumption of my car, and this per lap, then prepare the liters (defined thanks to calculation and not thanks to the number of laps indicated).
