I think that one of the first qualities of a driver and of an apprentice pilot, is knowing how to observe.
Also, and as GTR2 driving school is no longer sufficient for me (I have learned that exceeding what is taught is the key to really win the race), I do not hesitate to compare me to the real drivers.
I'm a fan of the french GT Tour, and especially of its challenges in GT and Porsche Carrera Cup.
This weekend, they were running at Magny-Cours, one of my favorite tracks. So I followed with great attention the lines used, the speed changes and the times. And I was pleasantly surprised.
MAGNY-COURS GT C2 par GT-Tour
Concerning the track, except the Estoril corner, I respect what is done in reality. The same applies to changes in speed.
Finally, regarding the times, I ride almost as fast as the leading drivers ... relatively speaking, since I am at my computer without cockpit on jacks, while they drive with temperatures that can approach 60°C in the cockpit.
And you, friends simracers beginners, do you like to do the same ?
